Hollywood diva Luise Rainer from Dusseldorf is dead
The Hollywood diva was born in Dusseldorf and two-time Oscar-winning actress Luise Rainer is dead. She died at the age of 104 years in London yesterday, as a personal friend of the family confirmed. The actress was 1936 and 1937 honored with one Oscar for her roles in “The Great Ziegfeld” and “The Good Earth”. After she turned her back on Hollywood, Rainer spent much of their life in Switzerland, and finally went to London Nobel Belgravia district. The actress was married to his second marriage to journalist Robert Knittel
