The rejection of The Interview is a controversial issue in the United States. Even President Obama criticized the decision by Sony Pictures as “a mistake”. Obama’s remarks were disappointing, Lynton said. He was not sure whether the president understand the reasons which have led to the cancellation. “Therefore, I disagree with the view that it was a mistake.”
