Shortly before the official start of the Festival 2015 Belgian in the city collapsed a built right in the city outdoor installation of the Flemish artist Arne Quinze. The 85 meters long and 16 meters tall work was on Christmas Eve in a central place after and parts fell to the ground.
Because the existing wood batten construction across runs like a gigantic branches over a road and pedestrian paths, it was considered very lucky that no one was injured. The affected road but had to be locked.
