An end can be a beginning, they say. As Menderes Bağcı sits after 16 days in the TV jungle on a wooden chair, Busch crown on his head, bamboo scepter in his hand, tears in his eyes, because presenter Sonja Zietlow asks him: “Are you going to again go to DSDS – or needs of American Idol go to your place? ” And the 31-year-old, who became famous because he was humble every year by Dieter Bohlen says: “Nah, I’ll always go in any case.”

The simple answer to the question, why someone repeatedly exposes the public ridicule, reads: This young man who adored Michael Jackson wants to become a singer. Absolutely. Therefore, he accepts setbacks not only in the purchase, he exaggerated it, makes them part of his dream: “Never give up”. The murmurs Menderes in the Australian bush again and again, sometimes during a jungle test, sometimes scrub the pots. Never give up. That sounds heroic to masochistic nature and fits so wonderfully for underdog tale of new jungle king.

It’s probably more complicated. Because the history of the Menderes Bağcı is also the story of the seductive attention of television. It is the story of people who had something, or would like to be something that hope in any case that the makers of them I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here Write a Heldennarrativ!. Bankrupt Barde Gunter Gabriel, the public alcoholic Jenny Elvers, the former Hollywood star Brigitte Nielsen. Nielsen is even for the second time, it was in 2012 crowned the jungle queen. But the other candidates are very judgmental media professionals – in this they differ from first-time talent show participants. The jungle campers are aware of the risk of being ridiculed. But even the ridicule has still a chance. To meet the sometime stylized cult figure

Why tell him no how shit it is

So it was with Menderes Bağcı?. When in 2002 he for the first time before the jury of Germany Idol occurs, he has plenty of template for nasty comments. As a pudgy boy stands with middle parting-Popofrisur and squeaky voice – and trying just to hit the big Jacko! Not only Dieter Bohlen beömmelt blithely, even the young target audience laughs scheckig: Has no family or friends who tell him how shit it is

” I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here “ Dschungelcamp Finals: The TV God gives Menderes his dignity back

Menderes, born in 1984 in Langenfeld in North Rhine-Westphalia , a trained garage mechanic, it is said, is never good, but better than singer. For his perseverance his mission makers give sometime nicknamed “cult candidate”. Wikipedia has the 31-year-olds today as “entertainers”, he performs in Province nightclubs and events. In the jungle itself Menderes presented as nice, picked polite, very insecure, young man who never loses a bad word about his competitors

One must be careful of course -. But that did not seem like tactics but sincere , Menderes know what power on television may have spoken words.
