The British musician Colin Vearncombe has died at the age of 53 years. 16 days after a serious car accident he had succumbed to his injuries in the presence of his family, it said on its Facebook page.
The musician had been critically injured in the head in an accident near the town of Cork in southern Ireland. He was put into an artificial coma. On Sunday his condition deteriorated further, however.
Blacks known song “Wonderful Life” stormed the European charts in 1987. The singer came from Liverpool player, but he lived in Ireland. Briton leaves a wife and three sons. After the funeral the immediate family a memorial service in his English hometown is scheduled.
