Actor Leonardo DiCaprio travels soon on behalf of the United Nations around the world. He was appointed by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to the UN peace ambassador. DiCaprio previously comprised primarily for protecting the environment.
Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio (39) is Ambassador of Peace by the United Nations. The actor was a “credible voice in the environmental movement,” explained UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, the selection on Tuesday in New York.
