The seemingly indestructible Crossover pioneers a route with the Album “the Getaway” a new Phase. For guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, it is the second Peppers Album for producer Danger Mouse, the first. The result is rocking as ever, live anyway.
The incredible career of the Californian Crossover pioneers in clearly distinguishable phases. Since the wild beginnings with guitarist Hillel Slovak would be first. After his death John Frusciante and Drummer Chad Smith in the Band, and with producer Rick Rubin also in the world success. And with the new Album “The Getaway” is also Rubin story, instead of Hipster-Producer Danger Mouse has taken the place of the mixer.
The differences are not so dramatic, the Peppers sound just like the Peppers.
