What a strong performance: As charismatic mysterious criminal Jürgen Vogel made in Ludwigshafen “Tatort” a damn good figure. But even he could not save the mediocre thriller alone

Even the title of the episode was uninspired and tried as many as last Odenthal thrillers. “LU” said the current episode -. A moderately funny play on words that both the Ludwigshafen license plate and the name of the bird figure, Ludwig “Lu” Wolff alluded
Lahm and predictable
The crime itself was stuffy-solid average. The case surrounding the murder of an Eastern European Killer was pretty lame, the smart businessman Dr. Mark Moss (Christoph Bach) from the beginning to see through as ruthless mastermind in the background. The permanent Zickereien between Lena Odenthal (Ulrike Folkerts) and her young colleague Johanna Stern (Lisa Bitter) were rather annoying to embarrassing than entertaining. Too often, this could be seen in recent thrillers ever.
What was a relief because the presence of Jürgen Vogel. As Lu he mimed a multifaceted ex Geldeintreiber and murderers with heart. Touching he took care of his old friend Michi (impressive: Hendrik Heutmann), who was sitting because of a nasty spanking attack in a wheelchair. Even compared to Lena he showed his soft side – and was blown away
Hot Flirt between Lu and Lena

Still, Bird outshone as Lu the” Tatort “and played his colleagues – including former jungle queen Ingrid van Bergen – to the wall. Not only Lena, also the spectators he twisted his head a little.
26 years and no end in sight
