Never: From the triumph of the continued benefits even the first part

The triumph of Zeki Müller and his students continues has a German film at its first cinema weekend recorded something like “F * ck You, Goethe 2″. Thus, the film of the already spoiled by success Bora Dagtekin breaks with his no less accustomed to success Star Elyas M’Barek several records: the continuation of the school comedy made 17.6 million euros in sales. This is not only by far the best cinema release of the year – (but since reliable cinema figures are evaluated, ie since 1968 or) but, at least according to the sales, the most successful German launch of a German film of all time. With precisely 2,115,200 visitors the film succeeds, moreover, what has so far managed only eight films: the jump over the two-million mark in just one week. About four-fifths, just 81 percent of all cinema tickets of Mr Müller and his students have been solved on a school trip in Thailand this weekend for the new adventures.

Just a few tens of thousands tarnish these success stories. “F * ck You, Goethe 2″ is indeed the most profitable, but not the best attended film. That’s still Bully Herbig Comedy “(T) spaceship Enterprise – Period 1″, the eleven years ago saw 2.16 million viewers in the first four days after their cinema release. Only the cinema tickets were there just a little bit cheaper.

“F * ck You, Goethe,” the comedy first part, had in 2013 clearly surpassed the one million mark in the first launch week, but was “only” 1.197 million spectators have come in the first week. Part two would almost twice seen so many at once. Nevertheless, the first part has developed into a perennial favorite: Total 7,334,548 spectators have seen him. This was the fourth most successful film of the school comedy since exploitation of the cinema figures – according to “Der Schuh des Manitu” (11.7 million), “(T) Spaceship Surprise” (9.16 million) and “Otto – Der Film” (8.78 Millions). The debut now benefits also from the sequel: Many cinemas offered both parts in a double, and so succeeded “F * ck You, Goethe 1″, which has now been released on DVD, again a new chart position – and in second place. Now it comes to the last class goal: whether Part Two can stay as long in the cinemas as number one – and turns out to be similar perennial favorite.
