The star photographer Oliver Rath died at the age of 38 years as a surprise. A native of Heidelberg was known for his nudes and celebrity photos and placed in a well-known gallery in Berlin
This was confirmed by his management of the German Press Agency on Saturday, first “Bild.de” had reported. Accordingly Rath died in the night of Friday, he is survived by two children and his partner. The circumstances of his death, the family did not want to speak, it was to “Bild.de”.
Rath was born in 1978 in Heidelberg and opened his own gallery about four years ago in Berlin. He was well known for his nudes, but also photographed many celebrities – such as Karl Lagerfeld, Alfred Biolek, Jürgen Vogel and Sophia Thomalla.
