The US local newspaper “St. Louis Dispatch” was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for their news photos of the unrest in Ferguson. Three of the coveted awards went to the “New York Times”, including two for their Ebola reporting. Overall, the Pulitzer Committee of New York’s Columbia University recorded 22 prize winners in 21 categories.
The editors of the “New York Times” was collectively for their Reports from the Ebola disaster area in West Africa honored as the Pulitzer committee announced. In addition, the freelance photographer Daniel Berehulak for his impressive photo report in the “New York Times” was awarded to Ebola. The third prize for the venerable newspaper goes to her journalist Eric Lipton for his investigative research on the influence of lobbyists.
