V or 25 years was “Pretty Woman” in the US cinemas. The love story of the young prostitute Vivan Ward (Julia Roberts) and the entrepreneur Edward Lewis (Richard Gere) was a worldwide success and cult film. For the anniversary, the “Today” show on NBC has the cast and director Garry Marshall – now 80 years of age – invited to a reunion. Actress Julia Roberts told here that the film was supposed to go out quite different.
The original script was but far from romance or comedy was. In the center of the story was supposed to be the subject of drug abuse. “3000″, should read the film.
