Miguel Ferrer has lost the battle against cancer. The actor died at 19. January at the age of 61 years. He starred in several films and TV series, including “Crossing Jordan – pathologist with profile” as Dr. Garret Macy, and “Navy CIS: L. A.”. Ferrer is the Cousin of Hollywood Star George Clooney (55, “Money Monster”), said in a Statement to “The Hollywood Repprter”: “Miguel made the world a brighter and funnier.” His death had taken the family deep. “We love you Miguel. For always,” says Clooney.

Ferrers longtime colleague, Jill Hennessy, 48, also known as Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh from Crossing Jordan reported via Twitter. She could not believe the news, it was unreal. It feels as if you hit someone in the pit of my stomach. “I loved this funny, brilliant guy,” tweeted Hennessy. “Twin Peaks”Co-Star Kyle MacLachlan, 57, wrote on his Twitter Account: “terrible news… Miguel Ferrer is dead. Agent Rosenfield, I love you. Rest in peace Coop.”
The Revival of the cult series “Twin Peaks” will flicker in 2017 on the screens. Also Ferrer will be seen in it again, he should have turned off according to the “Deadline” for his Part already. Miguel Ferrer’s career began in the 80s. In the classic “RoboCop” from 1987, he played Bob Morton, the man who had the idea for the robot-police officers. In addition to his well known TV roles, he was also a sought-after speaker. In the animation movie “Teen Titans – The Judas Contract” he borrowed last villain Deathstroke in his voice.
