Berlin – the left-chairman Katja Kipping made on Sunday in the ARD program “Anne Will” with the theme “Is Europe still be saved?” for a dubious comparison.

For an equitable distribution of the costs of the refugee crisis in Europe, the Left Party has proposed a bond at EU level. “It does, in fact, a Europe-wide solidarity solution”, the Left-chairman Katja Kipping said on Sunday in the ARD program “Anne Will”. They therefore suggest “that a loan you record at EU level to make in countries disproportionately absorb the many Escaped, an investment program”.

Instead of investing in walls, it is better to invest anywhere in public infrastructure such as roads, bus and rail, hospitals and schools, said the left-chairman. “This gives impetus for growth in the countries hosting Escaped, creates there more jobs and also conveyed solidarity.”

Kipping but also caused a dubious remark towards Austria. The border closure of the Alpine republic called it “solution with orders to shoot to people in need”.

Justice Minister Heiko Maas (SPD) said on the show, individual states could with border closures not solve the global problems of migration, this would only lead to “domino effect”. The refugees would have to be distributed in Europe. In addition, it was necessary to tackle the causes of flight. Against this background, the cease-fire was in Syria after five years of civil war very important.

However, Maas had a most remarkable moment in the talk show. As slapped a comment by Maas only one man in the audience responded Anne Will: “We welcome the spokesman Heiko Maas, who always claps especially loud!”
