Tidal is owned by the rapper Jay-Z, other music stars like Kanye West are involved. The applicant from California described himself as a fan of West’s music. Tidal is a year after the launch still a small player in the business. The leader Spotify from Sweden has over 30 million paying subscription customers. Apple Music came to recent data from the beginning of the year to eleven million customers. The iPhone Group service, unlike Spotify no ad-supported free version.
