starts a short video clip that Helge Schneider, has taken in a hotel room in Hannover 60 on Tuesday night and posted on his Facebook page. The comedian and musician had temporarily canceled an event at a bookstore in Hannover. While running in the background classical music, says Schneider in the camera, he would now look on TV, like the next one would be so in Hannover.
“I can only say, if it goes on like this, and I also have to cancel again tomorrow, then I’ll be Thursday again,” says Schneider stands up from his chair and makes a few martial arts exercises in the hotel room.
Even jazz musician Maceo Parker had a concert in Hannover canceled after the football match Germany had been canceled against the Netherlands because of a possible assassination attempt and a half hours before kick-off. “We have had concrete evidence that someone wanted to ignite an explosive device at the stadium,” said Hanover’s police chief Volker Kluwe.
A concert of the group “Söhne Mannheims”, however, was as planned in the Tui Arena next to the fairgrounds in Hanover, but with significantly heightened security.
The police in Hanover continue in many places in the city in search of suspects. Arrests did not exist before. Also explosives has not been found. “We are at different places in the application,” said the spokesperson of the police department Hanover, Martina Stern.
Since the cancellation of the international match there had been more inspections of suspicious objects which were all not confirmed -. including a package on a train, which contained an explosive dummy
