Google celebrates the Barbapapas – derStandard.at

“to change the way they want” – a line that especially in those who have grown up in the seventies and eighties years, automatically sound the right melody in my head leaves. Were there but the “Barbapapas” an integral companion in the nursery, because the ORF it for years at a fixed part of his “bedtime” made.

Doodle

Now also honors Google in their shape maximum adaptable family: the 45th birthday there own Doodle, which will be presented to all visitors of the search engine

Its beginnings took the adventures of Barbapapa, Barbamama, Barbabella, Barbaletta, Barbarix, Barbawum, Barbabo. Barbakus and Barbalala way, not in the well-known cartoon series. The first Barbapapa history was designed by author Talus Taylor and his wife Anette Tison, and published on May 19, 1970.

Sweet

The French origin suggests this is already in the name down: “Barbe à papa” translates as cotton candy. The author himself does not live to see the 45th anniversary of its creation! In fact, he died in February at the age of 82 years in Paris. (Red, 19/05/2015)
