One could describe the album as exceptionally soft, spherical and withdrawn for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Dancefloor branded “Give It Away”, “Around The World” or “By The Way” you’re looking at the disk in vain. Until there ever something brute down to business, you really have to the songs nine and ten – “Detroit” and “This Ticonderoga” – wait.
