Wim Wenders (69″ Palermo Shooting “ ) is awarded at the 65th Berlinale in February 2015, with the Honorary Golden Bear. Festival director Dieter Kosslick says on the official website of the Berlinale that so Wenders’ cross-genre and versatile plant is to be honored as a filmmaker, photographer and author: “[He] our film memory has influenced and inspired still filmmakers.”
With movies like “The Sky Above Berlin” (1987) or” Buena Vista Social Club “ (1999), Wenders gained worldwide recognition as a director. His work took him by doing much of the world, so he turned in Europe, the USA, Asia and Latin America. For many of his projects, he has been honored with numerous awards. Most recently, he was with his 3D dance film “Pina” even nominated for an Oscar.
