Tatort “The Mule” – SWR News

A new scene from the capital, a new investigator duo who only has to overcome their differences – Christa Schneider has seen the scene in advance. Their conclusion.

A new scene from the capital? Sure, who wants to be hip, weird and dramatic! And so it’s then straight off: with thumping beats and a shaky camera like on drugs, wild sex in the backyard and the homeless kids at Zoo Station. Right in the middle mistaken albtraumhaft a bloodied girl through the streets.

And the horror continues: In an apartment the shocked maid discovered in the bathroom a real mess: blood dripping from the tiles and shortly thereafter is Detective Chief Commissioner Nina Rubin at the site of the massacre and look for clues.

Here it comes the new colleague Robert Karow rather inconvenient, especially as the Narcotics Division a thick file and an unresolved past brings from his previous job …

Third protagonist should be the way the city – that was the creators very important. More than 30 street scenes of Berlin are supposed to see in this scene sequence. Since there is a reunion with old friend as the Bahnhof Zoo and the famous line 1, but also a look into the already ready-to-airport hotel.

rapid pace we hunt through’s mostly nocturnal Berlin – plus there’s dramatic pictures, evil drug lords and their very blond wives, a touching little brother-sister-history and for the initiated: a tribute to Wolfgang Herrndorf, the author of the Breakaway novel Tschick.

Berlin is in a hurry, with a schnodrig-sensitive Commissioner Nina Rubin – played by Meret Becker – and a somewhat inscrutable Robert Karow, aka Mark Waschke – the scene is younger, faster, harder, and I’m curious to see how it goes with the two!
