The dream of a life as a musician was already ticked off, but then this call: “Hello, Hagen, do you want to be a pop star?” The Doctors, punk rock chapel in a violent updraft, needed in the summer of 1986, a new bassist, and as Dirk felsenheimer alias Bela B. had just called his former buddy Hagen Liebing. The two knew each other was “from the old Punk days at the end of the seventies, in Berlin-Spandau” as Liebing later.
