ECHO 2016: Schöneberg moderated anniversary gala – Gala.de

The party! Barbara Schöneberger, 41, hosted the Echo Awards on April 7. The German Music Award, this year 25 years old and the anniversary gala will be a complete success. “With her we are ready for any surprise,” said ARD entertainment coordinator Thomas Schreiber. For the fourth time is Schöneberger hosted the Echo Awards. “I’m really looking forward to moderating this echo,” said the 41-year-old. “Before the number 25 I once respect I am also looking forward to the always fantastic performances that deliver our great show acts here..”

Speaking of show acts – there are already high-caliber, which are available on

the new stage of Messe Berlin. Grammy winners The Weeknd (26, “Can not Feel My Face”) will perform live. Even Udo Lindenberg (69, “My thing”) will occur. He has a special relationship with the German music award: At the first ceremony in 1992, he received the award for his life’s work. He now has five echoes at home. And Sarah Connor, 35, sings her hit “Are you coming with you” from their successful album “Native”.

The German music award Echo is published annually by the Deutsche Phono-Akademie, the cultural institute of the German Music Industry Association (BVMI) , assigned to national and international artists. The event will take place on 7 April in Berlin and will be broadcast live on First from 20:15.
