Great grief by Miriam Pielhau: The presenter has died at the age of 41 years. She was suffering from cancer twice and was considered cured. Now she has lost the battle against the cruel disease.
This was confirmed by her management. The presenter died on July 12 at the consequences of their illness.
The message therefore comes as a surprise, because they had announced in March that it had won their seemingly hopeless battle against cancer after two years. “The prospects were bleak”, she said at the time the “image” -Zetung. “The professor, who examined me, said, ‘Get used to the idea – you are no longer healthy.’”
Pielhau was suffering from breast cancer of 2008. She defeated the disease and was considered cured. In 2012 she had a daughter. 2013 she separated from her husband. In March 2016 Pielhau made public that she was suffering from lung cancer since, 2014.
Earlier this year, told her a doctor that she was cancer free. “I’ve done something a lot and I also as a miracle feel,” she said in March.
Pielhau processed their experiences and their fight against the disease in the books “foreign body” and “Dr. Hope” .
