Victoria “by Sebastian Schipper won the Golden Lola for Best Film. Overall, shot in real time Berlin Thriller brought six trophies and was the clear winner at the award ceremony of the 65th German Film Prize. The Silver Lola was on Friday night, “Jack” by Edward Berger. Best actor were Frederick Lau (25) and the Spaniard Laia Costa (30) for their roles in “Victoria”. The story of a bank robbery took the awards for best directing, cinematography and music. The film celebrated its premiere at the Berlinale and is currently running at the movies.


                         
         
         
                                                             

About the prices for Best Supporting Actor were allowed to Nina Kunz Village (43) and Joel Basman (45) happy. Kunz village was honored for the postwar drama “Phoenix” for Best Supporting Actress. My Swiss colleague Basman won the trophy for “We are young. Laura Poitras’ film “Citizen Four” on the American whistleblower Edward Snowden has been awarded as best documentary. The trophy for the best children’s film went to the comedy “Rico, Oskar and the Deeper Shadows” based on the novel by Andreas Steinhöfel. Til Schweiger got for his Alzheimer’s tragicomedy “Honey in the head,” the Golden Lola for the “most visited film of the year”. The show at Palais am Berlin Exhibition Grounds was moderated by actor Jan Josef Liefers and recorded for delayed broadcast ZDF. Many stars from film and television arrived, including Iris Berben, Dieter Hallervorden, Hannelore Elsner, Katja Riemann, Christiane Paul, Elyas M’Barek, michael gwisdek and Henry Hübchen.
