Patrick Macnee is dead – SPIEGEL ONLINE

His most famous role made him the epitome of the British gentleman of the old school. From 1961 to 1969. Patrick Macnee embodied in the series “The Avengers, Avengers” (in the English original “The Avengers”) the agent John Steed.
