at The age of 93 years, is asleep, Peter Vaughan on Tuesday surrounded by his family peacefully. A big blow for his Love and for many “Game of Thrones”Fans, who knew the British actor in the series, Maester Aemon. Bryan Cogman, who has worked, among others, already even as a Co-producer of “GoT”, reported via Twitter: “rest in peace, our Maester Aemon. Peter Vaughan died this Morning aged 93. It is a true honor to have known him.”
“An absolute Gentleman”
Luke Barnes, is seen in twelve episodes of the series as a grid, could believe the news: “I am destroyed because of Peter Vaughan on the ground. Even in his high age, he has refused to, if someone else had to stand. An absolute Gentleman.” Not often you have the opportunity to work with an “absolute legend,” he wrote in another Tweet: “He was so kind, gentle and interesting.”
Brenock O’connor, the young Olly from “GoT” and was “deeply saddened to hear of the death of Peter Vaughan. [...] He was a kind and talented man.” For this, he shared a picture of himself and Vaughan on the Set of the series. In addition, he adopted a “Game of Thrones”typical “And now his watch at the end”, as did many Fans.
“I’m so sad about Peter Vaughan. A true legend. Rest in peace,” wrote another Fan. Vaughan was “a great, British actor,” said another. What kind of person the actor was, however, brings another Fan much better to the point: “When I was a kid, and Newspapers have played, I brought him his newspaper. At Christmas, he gave a good tip.”
