That Thorsten Legat is verbally not a noble engineer, and was known. But what he did now in the TV, is hard to beat in embarrassment. After all, he apologized to Angelique Kerber.
N, one of the great thinkers of our time, Thorsten is no longer legate. The former footballer, by signs of earlier – let’s call it – rustic, Two warfare. And similarly, he acts verbally. “Because I let myself be swayed by my competence,” he said, and: “The Wiser.”
As his linguistic effusions are, at least since his time as coach of FC Remscheid cult (“My greatest desire was to be once for the FC Remscheid Trainer, nevertheless, I’m looking forward to it”), he is a frequent TV guest. In the jungle camp, he was already at the Markus Lanz show and on Saturday evening he took part in the ProSieben show “Schlag den Star”.
This occurs unfortunately went thoroughly into the pants. Because in a duel against his opponent, Detlef “D!” Soost needed Legat not only Brawn, but also brains. In a picture puzzle, the two famous personalities had to recognize on the basis of portrait images. Including news anchor Claus Kleber, the DFB-Boss Reinhard Grindel, or the foreign Minister, Frank-Walter Steinmeier – all three were, however, of the candidates identified.
That would have been forgivable. However, as a Legat was presented with a photo of tennis heroine Angelique Kerber, exclaimed to him: “What is this for a hack?”, followed by: “sorry, who is this?”
Repentant apology
In the course of the night it dawned on legate then, apparently, the neither spirit realm was still charming. “But the worst part is what happened to me, was the insult of Angelique Kerber. I can explain it to me so that I was frustrated by the poor Start to the competition, so much so that I’ve got bad enough that I didn’t recognize you – brought my bad mood to the expression with a horribly stupid spell," he wrote on Facebook. In a Video, he turned visibly bent at Kerber, and asked to be excused.
“I’m sorry about me unspeakably, and I would like to apologise for Angelique Kerber – our number 1 in Tennis. Such a thing must not happen to me! I’m devastated! I hope Angelique Kerber, and you’ll forgive me for my verbal slip-up?!", he posted.
