Here comes Alex: He has served 19 years for murder and after his release still power behind the forehead. For the third case, the Frankfurt team director Hermine Huntgeburth unravels a nightmare in beige.

The past is a distant country. People behave strangely there. Sometimes they are back in the present. And behave strangely still. Alexander Nolte (Nicholas Ofzcarek) is one of them. Nearly two decades have passed since Anna Janneke (Margarita Broich), then still police psychologist, has transferred him the murder of his partner. Nolte went for life in the building, after 19 years is now following the pardon. That he is even now on the loose, provides at the main Commissioner for panic disorder, keeps it the man but still not only for very, well, strange, but at least dangerous.

An assessment that certainly the homeless Martin Busche (Manuel Harder) would share, because if he could still talk. Instead, he is with a knife in his chest stone dead in a backyard. Nolte had lured the deposit collectors with the prospect of a few euros into an ambush and cold steel rammed between the ribs.

War murderer him is

The fact that this “crime scene” murderer, the third case of the duo Anna and Paul Janneke Brix (Wolfram Koch), does not care about Whodunit conventions and classical stress buildup, makes director Hermine Huntgeburth ( “Effi Briest”) from the first minute to clear. With Karacho and Rammstein ( “Ashes to Ashes”) it goes directly into the diseased cosmos of recently released Nolte. Dances in undershirt spasm Pogo before the domestic collage and we can assume easily that Jannekes assessment, in terms of social forecast of the murderer, coincides with reality.

Was murderer’s murderer is a murderer again – so is the figure already in the initial quarter of an hour all to Plot off what is the Sunday 90-minute film usually reserved for the final assembly. The culprit is clear from the beginning, as a result it is less about the Aufklauben of evidence, drinking coffee with suspects or rumlungern in interrogation dungeon. Instead, the action follows the clunky-charismatic Nolte in his ways, and leaves the viewer a part of it, as almost casually, he not only his psychologist (usual convincing timid: Ursina Lardi) modeled for helpless concubine, but also Brix and Janneke in chameleon-esque maneuvers only to finger wraps and then – almost any case -. to today plays out

Nolte fidgets, clamored, fucks and distraught

How easy it is to lie in feeling things and their assessment next shows the parallel unhandled private lives of two investigators. Brix and his very young bedfellow have different notion of privacy and Jannekes scanty remnants of a one night stand is not only a stale aftertaste, but also a wrong phone number.

The focus, however, is indisputable Nicholas Ofzcarek and his exuberant play between disturbingly charming and beguiling perilous. His Nolte fidgets and clamored, flirting and strolling, fucks and distraught. As Javier Bardem with better haircut as Lars Eidinger without rock or Hannibal Lecter with weight problems, provides the 44-year-old castle-actor from Vienna built his game with a brilliant blend of mania, physicality and insanity.

These Cinematographer Sebastian Edschmid the images with a chronic tinge beige-brownish so relined the delusional of events with corresponding feverish coloratura. That the Fort narration of the story of Brix and Janneke falters in this third case something – so be it. For this offers “The story of the evil Friederich” a thoroughly entertaining, subtly of Wilhelm Busch, Rammstein and Mozart all the more direct umwehtes Crime entertainment with one of the showiest killer of “Tatort” story.
