A Tidal users from California feels cheated because he was there made specially for “The Life of Pablo” customer. His lawyers want the process to expand a class action.
A key piece of evidence in the complaint is a Tweet from West, he deposed the album release on 15 February. He had his Tidal SUBSCRIPTION terminated immediately, when he found out that the album was available elsewhere also. Also the company of Jay-Z, who operates Tidal was sued here.
Tidal is a year after the launch still a small player in the business. The leader Spotify from Sweden has over 30 million paying subscription customers.
