At the beginning of David Bowie will release his 25th studio album, entitled “Black Star” – on his 69th birthday. Just as the artist announced on his website, the eponymous single will come already on 20 November on the market.
Music Birthday gifts are in Bowie not unusual: his comeback after almost ten-year break he had in 2013 also with the release of the song “Where Are We Now?” celebrated his birthday on January 8. Waiting for his new album, fans shortened with the collection box “Five Years”, which retraces Bowie changes in the years 1969 to 1973 musical.
To the content of his new album “Black Star”, the musician is silent so far out, but says that it “inaccurate reports about the sound and the content of the album” give. On speculation about Bowie’s new work is not lacking. The British “Times” reported on Saturday, the album was recorded in New York with local jazz musicians and “perhaps the strangest so far work” of the artist.
A 45-second excerpt of the new Bowie sounds can be heard in a trailer for the new TV series “The Last Panthers”. The gloomy vocals reminiscent of a Gregorian chant. Broadcast is the series starting November 12 at Sky.
